A stalwart in the field of journalism, Rudra Awasthi brings over 40 years of media experience to the helm of CGWall. His journey is a testament to grassroots reporting and high-level editorial leadership:

  • Early Career: Began his journey in 1984 as a rural correspondent, rising through the ranks to become a Sub-Editor at Dainik Lokswar (1986) and Navbharat (1991-2003).

  • National Impact: Served as a Divisional Correspondent for the prestigious Indian Express Group’s national daily, Jansatta (1987-2000), covering critical political analysis and election reviews.

  • Broadcast & International Media: contributed to BBC News (1996) and served as a Senior Reporter for Sahara Samay (2003). He also holds experience as an Announcer-Compere for All India Radio (AIR) and conducted exclusive literary interviews for Doordarshan (2002).

  • Current Role: After serving as the Local Editor for Dainik Hari Bhoomi (2005) and Editor for Grand News Channel (2009), he founded CGWall.com to lead the digital transformation of news.

  • Experience: His career spans significant tenures as a Sub-Editor at Dainik Hari Bhoomi (2005-08) and Editor at Grand News (2011-13). He has also served as the Bureau Chief for National News Express (2013-15).

  • Broadcast Leadership: Gained extensive broadcast experience with ETV Hyderabad (2008-11) and served as an Announcer-Compere for All India Radio (1998-2000).

  • Vision: Bhaskar oversees the daily editorial operations at CGWall, mentoring writers and ensuring that the platform’s content strategy aligns with the evolving interests of digital readers.
